ABERDEENSHIRE READING CHALLENGE

Now in its ninth year, the annual competition has involved over 7,000 children. The Challenge invites children to read six books during their summer holidays, and also has an artwork based competition running alongside. The 2009 Challenge was called 'Home In On A Good Book', and had a Homecoming Scotland theme.

 

 

DETERMINED TO SUCCEED - TORRY ACADEMY

As part of the Scottish Executive's 'Determined to Succeed' initiative, TOTAL E&P UK is partnered with local secondary school Torry Academy. The partnership aims to provide curriculum support, involve pupils in the company's sponsorship activities such as science and technology, language and arts events, and to involve the company's employees in work experience placements.
